Fishtown Wedding of Adriana and Joshua at Front Street Cafe.
To begin with, you have to "give me credit" it took me nearly a year to show these photos to the world. The good news It's fixable. I probably was hiding these gorgeous Wedding Portraits because they were too good and precious. So I just got stingy and kept them to myself for a while. But I feel the time has come. Now, like never before, we need all the positive emotions, we can only get in this world considering all the madness regarding the spread of coronavirus (smile, a reader from the future, you've survived!). And I'm here to make you relax and forget about the problems at least for a while.
It was a beautiful day in September 2019. September the 1st to be precise. You can't imagine better weather than it was that day. The warm breezy air was tickling the back of your neck. The sun was kissing the cheeks on your face giving you light freckles as a gift to remind you - the summer is over. (Wow, is it me writing?). It was just a perfect setting for a perfect day to get married.
When I met Adriana and Joshua for the first time, I have already known. It was my ideal couple. The guys were easy-going, charming, and funny. Just two best friends who had a plan to get married among the closest friends and relatives. We had the same vision on their special day. It is such a blessing for a photographer to be on the same page with the couple. Trust me, I know.
On her wedding afternoon, I met with Adriana, who was getting ready among the family at her place. The sweetest people! And a lot of them! And I'm pretty bad with names, so sorry everyone who was affected.
The dress was stunning! And look at this unique ring! It’s all about the details.
I was a witness to the most precious moment between mother and daughter. Yes, she is getting married!
We had 15 minutes with Josh and his friends, who stayed at the hotel. And we took advantage of it in the best way we could only imagine.
For their Wedding Portraits, the couple has picked the places that were the most memorable to them like Washington Square Park, where “the first look” occurred.
And their special tree in the park.
Adriana had no flowers at her ceremony and her wedding bouquet was made entirely from greens. And I have to tell you this eucalyptus smelled a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
We stopped by the first place where Adriana and Josh used to live together. I guess they were doing that pretty damn well because the whole street was happy to see them. The neighbors came out to celebrate and cheer to the feature Mr. and Mrs. Mintus. It was fun!
The wedding ceremony was pretty intimate and cozy. Beautiful friends and guests of the couple were singing. Josh's brother was the one to pronounce them husband and wife and sent them to this crazy world as a brand-new family.
We were stopping all the traffic while making the Family Portraits. Some classic ones and some…not really.
Candle lights, the best playlist I've ever heard, cheerful and happy atmosphere - that's how I can describe the reception. The alluring background for all the fun was provided by Front Street Cafe located in Fishtown, Philadelphia.
No wedding without dances. And wild dances to come after. No age limitation here.
I want to thank Adriana and Josh for letting me be a part of that special day. To be a witness of the beautiful connections they have between their family and friends. To be there, celebrate, and share this truly amazing experience!
