Elopement of Kristina & Ivan in Bryn Athyn, PA

Once upon a time, there lived one beautiful and talented woman named Kristina. On one happy day, she met one single young and perspective man named Ivan. They fell in love with each other, decided to get married, and invited one pretty damn good photographer to capture their fairy-like wedding day. It was one of the most gorgeous spring days in the most charming places ever. They’ve shared the vows in front of close friends and kissed each other. Their photographer has taken lots of amazing photos of a happy couple. Now nothing stood in the way for Kristina and Ivan to be together forever. They returned home and lived happily ever after. The end.

Cozy Family photo session at home, Jersey City, NJ.

This year we got so lucky to witness so much snow this winter. Wow! I can hardly remember when was the last time I've seen all the giant piles of snow outside, the children having fun while making a snowman.

On the other side, the winter and its dreamy snowy weather, it can be a challenge to schedule a Family photo session with a little kid outside. Your beloved child can easily become a snowman itself, with all the clothes you will put on to keep him or her warm enough to last through a couple of hours of the photoshoot.

What can be a better way to enjoy this perfect golden crispy fall? Just walking around the amazing old city of Philadelphia with the ones you loved the most. And with your beloved photographer aka me, of course. Had so much fun with Oleg and Lena and their little son Daniel, whom I met for the first time during his christening. Wow, time flies!

7 Family-friendly activities during a photography session.

Today I want to share some of my favorite activities that also provide plenty of beautiful photo opportunities as well as lots of family fun.

1. Apple picking.

It can be berry picking or flower picking. Depending on a season, you can pick whatever your little ones desire the most. A trip to the apple orchard is always a great way to spend an afternoon with your family and your photographer. It's also fun for the kids. They can be involved in the process, which gives your photographer a better chance to capture these candid moments. Plus, a great bonus here, you can score those yummy organic apples from your favorite farm. And maybe even bake something even more delicious later. Which leads us to the second activity on our list.

5 things to consider while scheduling a Maternity Photo Shoot.

Scheduling a maternity session with your photographer (or should I say me?), is an exciting time for a future mom to be. First of all, if you are thinking to make one it means that you are at least halfway through your pregnancy and the time of meeting your little one is inevitably coming towards you. That's why keeping in mind these couple of tips won't hurt your planning time but will only elevate your photo experience to the next level.

5 reasons to print your Family photos.

It's been a 6th or 7th (who still counts at this point?) week of self-isolation. I had my phone in my hands and after checking all the emails and social media apps, I made a deep dive into my camera roll. Oh, what a place of wonder! 16,231 photos! Just think about this number! I found the photos from my trip to Alaska from a couple of years ago. And my heart melted. I instantly transported to a place of nature that I miss so much during this quarantine. Then I started to think about how many times I promised myself to start printing my photos, from all the trips I've taken, my work, and the importance of printing your priceless memories in general.

Winter Family session, believe it or not.

Winter Family session, believe it or not.

Sundays are made to spend them with the family. In my case with someones else’s family.

But, to be honest, I really can’t complain here! Not only that the family I’ve met with, was the most charming ( I still think I’ve met a doppelgänger of my own dad!) and punctual (with 2 toddler kids on board, just imagine). But also it was the warmest day in the middle of winter. Almost 70 degrees in January! Whaaat?!
